UTTER ON HAND AT THE KNOXVILLE NATIONALS

(October 11th , 2007) -- The Utter Motorsports team invaded the Knoxville (IA) Raceway, September 27-29 for the 4th Annual 'Knoxville Late Model Nationals'. Jason Utter in the #31 drew the number one pill. Utter would be the first out to time trial on Thursday night. Utter had a very stout field in his heat race picking up a 7 th place finish. The #31 started the B consi in 20 th place and stormed through the pack to bring home a 7th place finish.

Friday night, the team would try their luck at the famed Knoxville raceway. Utter timed in much better. The #31 would finish 7 th in his heat race. Utter brought home an 8 th place finish in the B consi.

Saturday night: The finale of the 4 th Annual Knoxville Late model Nationals.

Utter earned a 6 th row inside starting spot in the B consi. At the drop of the green flag, multiple cars got side-ways in turn one. Utter having nowhere to go went low on the track only to collect a car that was pushed down into him. The #31 would have to call it a night as an A frame was bent. Utter picked up a disappointing 18th B Consi place.

“I was very disappointed tonight. I felt I could have made it into the main event if the mishap would not have happened on the first lap. The #31 had some of their sponsors on hand, and I would have loved to make the big show for them.” Utter commented.
