Utter Motorsports KICKS off with 2 WDRL Races

(May 13th, 2007) -- Jason Utter and the Utter Motorsports team kicked off the year with a pair of WDRL races.  WDRL’s first race of the season being held in Farley, Iowa, after a two week weather delay.  Utter struggled with the set up in the heat race, used a provisional to get into the main event and ended the night in 24th place.  The following night the C & R Pork, P & L Transportation, Amsoil 31 car traveled to the second WDRL race held at West Liberty, Iowa.  Utter timed in mid pack, but still missed qualifying for the main event.  Utter used his second provisional and brought home a 13th place finish.

Freeport, Illinois and the legendary Knoxville raceway would be on the slate the following week.  The Utter Motorsports team along with Jason travel to Freeport, IL.  Utter timed in 10th, ran his heat race and decided to load the car.

Friday night the C& R Pork, P & L Transportation, Amsoil Car #31 was looking good.  Utter ran a great heat race and started in the 13th position for the Main event.  Utter drove a great race and brought home an 8th place finish.

The action now turns to the West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa on Saturday evening, May 5th.  Jason drove his C & R Pork / P & L Transportation/ Amsoil/ Cox Design & Metal Fabrication/ Capital Builders/ Brown Bros Enterprises/ Farmers Implement of Washington /Skubal Electric/ Mendenhall Inc/ Wegner Research powered number 31 to a hard charging 4th place finish.  Utter rolled off for the main event in the 11th position.  Jason had the bottom line working very well for him, a few caution flags worked in the favor for Utter.  Brain Harris right on his bumper was able to capture third on the white flag lap from Utter.
