Utter brings home a third place finish

(May 16th, 2007- Oskaloosa, Iowa) --Jason Utter and the Utter Motorsports team traveled to Oskaloosa, Iowa Wednesday night. The Southern Iowa Speedway was host to the second 2007 USRA Late Model series. Utter’s C & R Pork, P & L Transportation, Wegner Research Power plant, Monte Carlo started the night with a strong second place finish in his heat race. The 31 car would start in 5 th position in the feature event. Utter moved forward on some great restarts and was closing the gap on second place Chad Simpson with 10 to go. Utter would settle for a third place spot tonight.

“I really like racing at this track. Last year I ran this race and won it. I feel my team had a great car again tonight; we just came up a few spots short. Dave Echrich, Chad Simpson and my-self were able to break away on the restarts. Chad ran a great race and never opened the door on the bottom side to allow the pass. “Utter commented.

The Utter Motorsports team will be back in action this Saturday night at West Liberty Raceway, West Liberty, Iowa
