Race Report: May 16th - 17th

5/21/08 -- Friday night the Utter Motorsports team invaded the Farley Speedway as the Lucas Oil Series was in town. Utter sported his Mastersbilt by Mars with a new motor for the first time this season. Utter wheeled his 31 machine to an outstanding time trail and this would place him second row inside in the third heat. Utter picked up a solid third place in the heat race. In the Lucas Oil feature Utter was to start fifth row inside, but after the heat race the motor was running a little warm. The 31 would start the feature in the rear of the field. Jason Utter would end the night in the 23rd position after pulling the car in early during the feature.

The action then turned to West Liberty Raceway, West Liberty, Iowa as double features were on tap due to a rain out the week before. The first feature event the 31 started fifth row inside. Utter wheeled the 31 around mayhem on the track and finished the 25 lap feature in 7th place. The second feature event the Utter Motorsports team dialed the 31 machine in to bring home a 6th place finish.

Memorial Day Weekend the action is hot and heavy. Friday night the 31 team will be on hand at the Davenport Speedway for a WDRL series race. The team has decided to attend the Rumble by the River in Dubuque, Iowa on Sunday-Monday. Stay tuned, for all the race results, Jason feels he has something for them this weekend.
