St. Louis, MO (April 7th, 2009) --
The Utter Motorsports team kicked off the WDRL season in Davenport, Iowa April 4th. The weathter was extremely chilling but the racing was hot.
Jason Utter, in the Louisa Gold Farms #31 drove his Mastersbilt, to a third place finish in his heat race. Utter started in the 11th starting position for the feature event. The #31, working thru traffic, had wheeled his car to the 7th position, till a caution flag flew on lap 18. On the restart, cars checked up ahead of Utter and the cars in the rear of him did not, collecting #31 and putting him out of the race. Jason would bring home a disappointing 19th place finish.
"I can't say enough about my crew. They have worked very hard over the winter on this car and I felt we had a fast car tonight, but that is racing. We will try again next week." stated Utter.
Next stop for the Utter Motorsports team is April 19th in East Moline, IL at Quad City Raceway.
Hope to see you at the track.
